PURPOSE: A rope jumping apparatus using a laser beam is provided to allow indoor rope-jumping, enable electronic counting of rope jumping without remembering a number of times of rope jumping and make a user feel like as if doing rope jumping actually. CONSTITUTION: The rope jumping apparatus(10) to electronically realize a conventional rope jumping comprises: a laser beam driving unit for electrically embodying a rope and a laser beam sensing unit for sensing foot being caught in the rope during rope jumping; a compressed air blow-off unit(11A,11B) for bringing about the effect of real feelings of foot being caught; a display unit comprised of function switches, indicating lamps and a speaker all on a front panel(20); and a control unit for controlling the system and realizing the overall functions required for operation.
