PURPOSE: A structure for installing a vegetable box of a refrigerator is provided to automatically open and shut a vegetable box door by step height parts formed at sides of a vegetable box when the vegetable box moves in and out, thereby maintaining freshness of stored goods by restraining evaporation of moisture of the stored goods. CONSTITUTION: A vegetable box(80) stores stored goods in a storage space thereof. A cover is formed at the top side of the vegetable box for shielding the upper part of the vegetable box. A vegetable box door(96) is formed at a front end of the cover for selecting opening and shutting a front upper part of the vegetable box. Side front end parts of the vegetable box are formed in step height, and a side lower end of the vegetable box door has step height parts corresponding to the side front end parts of the vegetable box.
