<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording material improved in ozone resistance, light-fastness and, so called, high resistance against color region. <P>SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording material includes a support and at least one image-recording layer. A protection layer containing a compound with an organic sulfer which forms a complex with a metallic ion and a boric acid compound is arranged on the upper side of the image-recording layer. The above image-recording layer and/or protection layer includes an organic compound represented by the formula: MeX or MeX<SB>2</SB>(wherein, Me represents a transition metal of a VIb, VIIb, VIIIb, Ib or IIb group, and X represents an anion of a 4C-12C carbonic acid). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
