<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder in which degradation of print quality is suppressed at the joint portion by a multihead of joint head arrangement. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink jet recorder for forming an image by arranging a plurality of recording heads, information concerning a drawing object is acquired from print data received from a host computer, and arrangement of a recording head included in the ink jet recorder is acquired. Based on the information of the acquired drawing object and the arrangement of the recording head, the print data is distributed to the plurality of recording heads thus suppressing degradation of print quality at the joint portion of a joint head. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
