PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield and quality in a head suspension, a head assembly, and a recording and reproducing device provided with a magnetic head. SOLUTION: The head suspension, the head assembly, and the recording and reproducing device mounted with the magnetic head for performing recording and reproduction to a recording medium comprise a head mounting part 43 for mounting the magnetic head 44 thereon, and convex patterns with end formed side by side at a predetermined interval at least either in the width direction or in the longitudinal direction. That is, they have the head mounting part 43 where the magnetic head 44 is mounted thereon, a wiring pattern 47 extended from this head mounting part 43, and the convex patterns which are formed in the area where the magnetic head 44 on the head mounting part 43 is to be positioned and are isolated from the wiring pattern 47.
