PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an illumination-integrated imaging apparatus which can be utilized for a general purpose and which eliminates the inconvenience of outside attaching an illuminator to the imaging apparatus at an imaging time at a dark place. SOLUTION: The small-sized imaging unit 1 includes an optical lens and an imaging device, such as an image sensor, etc. The illuminator 2 has illuminating components having a plurality of LEDs emitting lights of three primary colors. An electric circuit substrate 3 mounts the electrically connected small-sized imaging unit 1 and the illuminator 2. In the illumination-integrated imaging apparatus, the small-sized imaging unit 1 and the illuminator 2 are loaded on the same electric circuit substrate 3, can be used for various type portable apparatuses, such as a portable telephone, a PDA, etc., in the general purpose manner.
