PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which is improved in environmental resistance performance such as waterproof performance. SOLUTION: An opening of a front case 2 is sealed with a pressure member 30, whose opening is sealed with a 1st lens 23. The internal diameter of an O ring 34 used to seal the front case 2 is larger than the external diameter of the 1st lens 23 and the external diameter of the O ring 34 is smaller than the internal diameter of the press member 30. The O ring 34 is compressed as the pressure member 30 is screwed in and the clearance formed between an edge of the 1st lens 23 and an internal wall surface of the press member 30 is sealed by deformation during pressing.
