PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the high degree of assembly including reduction of the pre-assembly range by improving the functionality of a so-called "fixed dry sump". SOLUTION: Wall divisions 64 and 66 which demarcate oil storage chambers 20 and 22 and are arranged with a space from oil bulkheads 24 and 26 are provided. The wall divisions 64 and 66 extend in a diagonally inclined manner with respect to flow-through openings formed in the oil bulkheads 24 and 26 and work as a falling surface for lubricating oil which is returned and guided into the oil storage chambers 20 and 22.
