PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work execution method and a work execution structure, performing the shaft arrival work of a shield machine safely, smoothly, in a short period of time and at a low cost, increasing a cutting reaction force, and preventing the adhesion of a foreign matter to a water stop packing. SOLUTION: By this work execution of method, the shield machine 1 simultaneously cuts and excavates a shield machine arrival wall 3 built in a part of a shaft wall 11 and a filler J in closed entrance 27 provided on the back thereof. In a state that the shield machine 1 enters the closed entrance 27 to cut the filler J, the filler J is put in a frozen state. A water glass suspension chemical is used as the filler J.
