PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic and quantitative discharging device for a beverage which can surely detect a liquid shortage state of the beverage without inviting the upsizing of the device scale or the increase of the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This automatic and quantitative discharging device for the beverage is equipped with a flow rate detecting device 4 and a controlling device having a liquid shortage detecting unit 6b. In this case, the flow rate detecting device 4 measures the travelling time of an ultrasonic wave which has travelled on a channel tube 2 for circulating the beverage, and detects the flow rate of the beverage circulating in the channel tube 2. The liquid shortage detecting unit 6b of the controlling device 6 acquires a travelling level signal S4 corresponding to a receiving level V(V) of the ultrasonic wave which is detected by ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving units 41 and 42 owned by the flow rate detecting device 4, and then, detects the liquid shortage state of the beverage circulating in the channel tube 2 by performing a comparison-operation process between the receiving level V(V) and a preset signal level Vth(V).
