PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which can fully obtain a position precision of a lid part capable of opening a transfer path of a medium to be recorded (medium to be injected), and to provide a liquid injection device. SOLUTION: The recording device reverses and transfers in a nearly U shape, the medium to be recorded from below a device body part 2 equipped with a recording performance means 10, and discharges the medium from an outlet 400 arranged above the device body part 2. Discharging means (41 and 43) for the medium to be recorded which are arranged close to the outlet 400, and guide members (91 and 92) for guiding the medium to be recorded toward the discharging means 41 are set at an opening and closing lid 100 fitted openably to the device body part 2.
