PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can easily adjust the strength of shooting power of game media in a necessary range, facilitates shooting of game balls to a target point, and enables continuous adjustment so as to direct the shot game media to the target point, and to provide a game media shooting method. SOLUTION: The shooting strength of the game media is adjustable by a shooting strength adjusting mechanism E such that the ratio of an output change to an adjusted operation amount in the necessary range out of the entire adjustable range of output shifted according to the adjusted operation amount of an operating section Ha becomes smaller than the ratio in the other ranges outside the necessary range, and therefore the player can shoot the game media to a game area, based on the shooting strength thus adjusted.
