Combined process for the production of heat and electric power from sewage and biomass

In a waste disposal process slurry and a wood biomass are pyrolyzed and separated in a converter to oil and a solid carboniferous residue. The oil and solid residues are subsequently used together and simultaneously for energy generation. The oil may be used as fuel for a pilot injection gas engine, gas turbine engine or diesel engine. The coal may be used to cool and filter wood gas arising from a wood gas generator, or may be converted directly to gas. The pre-heated and tar-bearing carboniferous residues are converted to gas at high temperature in a gas generator. Water from the converter reactor is evaporated at very high temperature and introduced to the gasification process.
