The inner telescopic tubular portion attached to tow hitch has a short bar with an eye (70) at the end bolted (AO) to the tubular inner portion. This has flat horizontal top (DPA) and bottom (GPA) plates connected together by flat vertical side plates (SPA). There are guide plates (GA1,GA4) on the top surface. A further plate (GV) is welded to the top surface (FAO) of the tubular inner portion. Cutouts (BPA) in the sides of the tubular inner portion are covered by a reinforcing plate (VP).
