An axial streaming turbine engine with a metal rotor (1) in which rotor blades (3) made from an intermetallic material are mounted in a peripheral slot forming a rotor blade series, where at least two rotor blades (3') made from a ductile material are located in the rotor blade series between the intermetallic rotor blades (3), where rotor blades (3') are either longer than blades (3) or of equal length but have different blade tips.
