PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to cope with both polarity reversible constant voltage output and pulse wave voltage output by installing an A-D converter which takes in the value of an output signal of a first output detecting circuit and a PWM timer which controls the duty cycle period of a switching element. SOLUTION: This power supply equipment is provided with a second rectifier and lifter circuit 11 having a polarity opposite to that of a first rectifier and lifter circuit 7 and a constant voltage element 13 for holding constant the output of the second rectifier and lifter circuit 11. Furthermore, voltage divider resistors 15 and 17 are serially connected to the outputs of the rectifier and lifter circuits 7, 11 respectively and an output terminal Vout is inserted between the voltage divider resistors 15 and 17. To the output terminal Vout, a load 19 is connected. Connected to a switching element 5 and to a first output detecting circuit 9 is a PWM controller 21 which, having a microcomputer, an A-D converter, and a PWM timer, controls the switching of the switching element 5 based on the detection result of the first output detecting circuit 9. |
