<p>A recessed refrigerator having a unit to bias the cover (30) of a machine room (20) to be opened or closed depending on the position of the cover (30). The recessed refrigerator includes a cabinet (10) having a storage compartment (11,12), and a machine room (20) with an opening at a front surface positioned above the storage compartment (11,12). A cover (30) is hingedly coupled to the cabinet (10) to selectively open and close the front opening of the machine room (20), and a biasing unit (40) causes the cover (30) to be automatically opened and closed depending on the location of the cover (30).
