In an optical disc master plate exposure device which exposes by CAV driving with the controls of a driving motor 8 for rotating a turntable T on which an original glass disc 5 of an optical disc is placed, rotation driving means of an encoder 7, an exposure optical system 2 for converging and irradiating an optical beam onto an information truck, convergence and irradiation means of a focus actuator 4, and the like, an air slider motor 10 for transversally moving the convergence and irradiation means of the optical beam in a plane parallel to the original glass disc 5, transversal feeding means of a motor driver 11, and the like, rotation driving means, and transversal feeding driving means, an accurate formatter driving clock is obtained by the calculation including a rotation angle speed m 0 of the turntable, a CLV driving starting radius R0 from a truck pitch P, and an information truck of the CLV format driven by a CAV is formed on the original glass disc 5.
