The metal plates (11,12) in the stack (10) are of two different types, arranged parallel to each other. The first type of plate is elongated, with a V-shaped cutout in the end and is held by four insulating plates (14,15,24) at right-angles to the planes of the metal plates. Tags (18-20) on the edges of the plates engage in apertures in the insulating plates. The second type of plate is short and has a V-shaped cutout in the edge near the middle of the long plate. The second type of plates may be thinner than the first type of plates.
