FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly for combating fires inside refuse chutes. ^ SUBSTANCE: fire-extinguishing system comprises charging hatches of refuse chute and device providing automatic fire-extinguishing substance supply into refuse chute as fire takes place inside refuse chute. Device also provides automatic system switching-off after fire suppression. Fire-extinguishing system includes locking means arranged inside refuse chute. Locking means is made as tube with access holes for refuse throwing into refuse chute through charging hatches. Locking means provide closing of charging hatches if fire takes place inside refuse chute. System also has fixing device and return mechanism to move locking means into initial position. Deflector is installed in upper part of refuse chute. Arranged in lower part of refuse chute are gates with automatic means for fire suppression. ^ EFFECT: prevention of smoke ingress into living rooms. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
