FIELD: data processing systems engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has memory meant for storage of multiple data words, recording device for condition bytes, logical circuit of condition requests. Method includes recording multiple data words into memory, recording of condition bytes in hierarchy relation, determining condition of data word in memory by means of analysis of condition bytes and processing of hierarchy in downward direction, until condition byte is reached which points to condition of data word independently of any condition bytes being lower in hierarchy. ^ EFFECT: possibly change of condition bytes at high speed and no need for having specially ordered devices for parallel access to each condition byte. ^ 2 cl, 5 dwg |
