The apparatus for processing milk pelts comprises a brush section with rotating brush heads, incorporating an endless conveyor with mutually separated roller chains, between which are grippers for securing the main part of a pelt. The apparatus has a massage section, and the massage and brush sections are fitted in a longitudinal channel connected with an outwardly sucking system, the conveyor running through the massage and brush sections. The apparatus incorporates a table with a delivery section and a deactivation unit for the grippers.
