PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly and easily cope with the increase in instrumentation input/output information without enlarging a system. SOLUTION: The instrumentation control system, which performs analogue/digital conversion for each of many instrumentation input signals and obtains a control output by digital processing conducted by a computer main body based on these digital signals, is configured as a remote IO system comprising a main station M having the computer main body equipped therein and a plurality of sub-stations S<SB>1</SB>to S<SB>N</SB>which perform analogue/digital conversion for each of many dispersed instrumentation input signals and serial-transmit these pieces of the converted data to the main station.
