PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of easily controlling equipment by only setting operation data and condition data in each operation step. SOLUTION: In this programmable logic controller 2, a data holding part 21 stores the operation data for directing operation and the condition data for the operation in prescribed order, and a variable control part 22 generates an operation direction signal from the operation data in prescribed order. By bringing conditions prescribed by the condition data into line with conditions inputted from a sensor of the control equipment 3, the equipment is controlled and is sequentially operated.
