PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency by enabling a single worker to easily decide a position for conducting connection work in connecting pipes to be connected by engagement of thread parts. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a fixing body 10 detachably installed on an existing pipe Ka installed previously in connecting pipes K in order in a vertical direction along an established thing such as a building by engaging their thread parts N, a circular support body 20 suspended from the fixing body 10 through a suspension member 30 to be releasably engaged with clearance to the subject pipe Kb to be connected to the existing pipe Ka, a circular movable body 40 detachably installed on the subject pipe Kb, and supported by the support body 20 to be rotatable around an axial line of the subject pipe body Kb, and a lifting mechanism 50 to lift the movable body 40 in accordance with rotation of the movable body 40, so that the thread parts N of the existing pipe Ka and the subject pipe Kb can be engaged with each other.
