PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cleaner which is manufactured easier and to provide a suction head of a vacuum cleaner which includes the rotary cleaner. SOLUTION: A scraping member 15 and a brush base 14 are integrally extruded in a linear shape. The linear scraping member 15 is twisted with the brush base 14 and is protruded along the circumference of the brush base 14. This eliminates the need for operation of mounting the scraping member 15 on the brush base 14 and the number of manufacturing steps of a rotary brush 13 can be reduced. By forming the brush base 14 and the scraping member 15 of different resins, integral extrusion of the scraping member 15 and the brush base 14 becomes easier, the hardness of the scraping member 15 and the brush base 14 can be adjusted and the operation of twisting the brush base 14 with the scraping member 15 becomes easier.
