PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt device having a structure which ensures the strength of joint to a belt in order to prevent peeling or break and securely prevents the belt from turning aside or meandering. SOLUTION: The belt device has the belt 3 which is wound round rollers 3A to 3D and forms a spread face H. In the belt device 3, the belt 3 has guide members 32 along its edges which face the end faces of the roller, as viewed from the direction of the width of the belt.
