<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content downloading system capable of easily downloading data for storing a desired musical piece in a form matching the operation environment of a music reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: The music reproducing device 200 has a function as an Internet radio receiver which receives a program provided by a radio server 300 of an α broadcasting station through the Internet 100. When the music reproducing device 200 is operated as specified while the function as the Internet radio receiver receives an arbitrary musical piece, musical piece information, concerned with the musical piece being received, that corresponds to the operation environment of the music reproducing device 200 is transmitted from the radio server 300 to the music reproducing device 200. Then when the music reproducing device 200 is operated to make a request for downloading, the music reproducing device 200 downloads the data for storage based upon the musical piece information from a music distribution server 400. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
