OPTICAL FIBER AND SIGNALING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signaling system suitable for construction of a premise line and transmission of an analog signal.

SOLUTION: A signaling system 100 extends optical fibers for not only backbone lines but also premise lines. Plastic optical fibers with excellent flexibility are employed as routing optical fibers and premise optical fibers. Especially, the core diameter of premise optical fibers is enlarged to 100 micrometers or more in order to provide efficient transmission of analog signals. An inexpensive system can be built up by adopting optical fibers formed by PMMA (Poly Methyl Metacrylate) resin material of acrylic system.
