CIRCULAR POLE PIECE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATED BLOCK AND MRI APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular pole piece which enables simplification of work, reduction in cost and elimination of a gap. SOLUTION: The circular pole piece is manufactured by circularly arranging laminated blocks 103 each having a plurality of hexagonal directional electromagnetic steel sheet tiles layered. Since profile soft magnetic material tiles are unnecessary, work can be simplified and the cost of the circular pole piece can be reduced. Moreover, the laminated blocks can be arranged substantially circularly without a gap between adjoining blocks. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
