PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking assisting device for assisting parking operation securely even for a newly-licensed driver, and helping the operation appropriately. SOLUTION: In the assisting device 1, the rear side of a vehicle is picturized by a camera 17 at the time of parking operation, the video image from the camera is displayed as a rear image on a display 13 provided in the vehicle, and an estimated driving orbit 20 varying with a state of a steering angle is displayed superimposingly on the rear side image.
