PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a sensor, wherein each photo-sensitive cell is composed of three transistors, to read a regenerative image less in noise. SOLUTION: The photo-sensitive cell includes a photo-diode 1, a transfer gate 2, a floating spreading layer part 3, an amplification transistor 4 and a reset transistor 5. A drain of the amplification transistor in each photo-sensitive cell is connected to a power supply line 10, and a pulse-like power supply voltage VddC is applied to the power supply line 10. At such a time, a low level potential VddC-L of the power supply voltage is defined as a predetermined potential higher than zero potential. Concretely, the low level potential VddC-L is made higher than a channel potential of the reset transistor 5 in low level application, a channel potential of the transfer gate 2 in low level application or a channel potential of the photo-diode 1 in low level application, thereby reading the noise-reduced regenerative image.
