PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collectively store as many continuous pieces of information as possible in one storage medium in a recorder capable of recording information in a plurality of storage media. SOLUTION: Recording is performed on memory cards 1 and 2 at the same time (state B). When the recording is finished, only records on one memory card are left as they are and records on the other memory card are eliminated in accordance with free capacities of the memory cards.
