PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersed particle electroluminescent element emitting light in high brightness with high efficiency, and an electroluminescent particle suitably used for the same. SOLUTION: The electroluminescent element includes the electroluminescent particle having the average spherical equivalent diameter of not less than 1.0μm and not larger than 12.0μm, with a particle diameter variation coefficient of not less than 3% and not larger than 30%, and emitting light in donor-acceptor light emission.
