摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cylindrical type fuel reformer which is easily manufactured and in which the replacement of a catalyst is easily carried out. <P>SOLUTION: A 1st unit Y1 having a 1st cylindrical part 10B projected from a 1st end plate part 10A and a 2nd unit Y2 having a 2nd cylindrical part 11B projected from a 2nd end plae part 11A are provided. The 1st end plate part 10A and the 2nd end plate part 11B are positioned to be opposed to each other and the 1st cylindrical part 10B is inserted into the inside of the 2nd cylindrical part 11B to form a double cylinder state. Connection means Y3, 13a, and 13b for connecting the 1st and the 2nd units Y1 and Y2 to each other in the double cylinder state to freely carry out the connecting/releasing operation are provided. A annular interunit gap (r2) formed between the 1st cylindrical part 10B and the 2nd cylindrical part 11B is used for an inner fuel passage 4 communicating with catalyst layers Ra and Rb or used as the housing part of the catalyst layers Ra and Rb which is positioned on the mid-way of the inner fuel passage 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
