<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming system in which heat is rapidly supplied to a reforming material supplied to a reformer. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel reforming system provided with a reformer 8 for reforming a raw material and fuel into a hydrogen enriched reformed gas and a carbon monoxide removing apparatus having catalytic reactors 1 and 2 for removing carbon monoxide which is arranged on the downstream side of the reformer is structured. The heat liberated by a catalytic reaction in the catalytic reactor 1 is exchanged with the reforming raw material supplied to the reformer 8 in a heat exchanger 3.
