WATERDROP REMOVING APPARATUS AND AIR WASHER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterdrop removing apparatus and an air washer each of which is miniaturized and made to have high performance.

SOLUTION: This waterdrop removing apparatus 6 is constituted so that a downstream side draining part 6B is formed by arranging a plurality of plate-shaped materials 10 side by side in the direction perpendicular to the airflow direction, on the surface of each of which many slender projected lines 10a extending vertically are formed side by side in the width direction of the material 10 in order to capture waterdrops and each of which has a chevron cross-sectional shape in ground plan and an air-permeable packing material layer 6A is arranged on the upstream side of the part 6B in the airflow direction so that waterdrops in the air A passing through the layer 6A are captured and the captured waterdrops are flocculated. The air washer is constituted by arranging the apparatus 6 on the downstream side of a water sprinkling nozzle 4 in the airflow direction.
