<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a search supporting system for allowing a person who requests search to grasp contents of an actually executed searching activity, and for utilizing already registered information for the searching activity. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of receiving information indicating that search is requested from a search client terminal 10, a management server 201 generates a search map where the location of the loss of the target of search, the location of the past finding of the target of search or the location of each searcher terminal 30 or the like are shown on a map based on location information received from each searcher terminal 30 and map information stored in a data base 203 and information associated with the target of search received from the search client terminal 10, and for transmitting the search map to the search client terminal 10. The search client designates a search range and the number of searchers on the search map displayed at the search client terminal 10. A settlement management server 202 decides search costs from the search range and the number of searchers, and decides the sum of a bonus paid to the person who has found the target of search based on a time spent until the target of search has been found.
