<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the relative locations of movable bodies to be positioned by a relatively simple constitution and to lower requirements for accuracy in mounting devices such as sensors used for the detection of the location. <P>SOLUTION: This automated guided vehicle 8 is halted at a location capable of transferring a container to a gantry crane 4. A location determining device 21 provided with an angle measuring sensor is mounted on the automatic guided vehicle 8. On the other hand, three reflecting parts 22-24 are mounted on a beam 4d of a leg part of the gantry crane 4 at regular intervals in a traveling direction. In the location determining device 21, reflected light of laser light scanning the reflecting parts 22-24 is detected by the angle measuring sensor to detect the azimuth angles of the reflecting parts 22-24. On the basis of a value of the difference between angle differences between azimuth angle differences, the regular halting location of one's own vehicle to the gantry crane 4 is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
