INTERNAL INDWELLING DEVICE FOR FORMING EMBOLUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal indwelling device for forming embolus capable of being certainly indwelled in a predetermined region, capable of being certainly subjected to re-indwelling operation and having high safety and high operability.

SOLUTION: The internal indwelling device for forming the embolus 10 is equipped with a flexible coil body and an axial stretching control member 30 having a tensile strength at break with a predetermined magnitude is provided in the coil body so as to extend in the axial direction of the coil body. The stretching control member is constituted of a wire material having a tensile strength at break of 700 N/mm2or above in the axial direction of the coil body and having a diameter of 25 μm or below. The stretching control member is preferably constituted of a wire material consisting of tungsten or a tungsten alloy and more preferably constituted of a twisted wire obtained by loosely twisting a plurality of wire materials.
