<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for displaying a reinforced vision image based on a plurality of image sources. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes both of serial and parallel processors. The serial processor computes a low data volume required by the parallel processor for image display. The serial processor previously computes conversion required for conversion of source data from respective sources into a basic coordinate system. The parallel processor uses these conversions, and respective frames are received from the source when the source data are associated with the display for each pixel, so that a waiting time can be reduced and displayed. The image processor reduces influence of parallax, combines images with different view fields together to create a mosaic image, and merges the images with the same view field from different kinds of sources into a fused image.
