<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shortening lifetime of semiconductors constituting a circuit by preventing power sneaking between semiconductor circuits, during turn on/off of power source of the whole system and transition between energy saving statuses. <P>SOLUTION: A switch 0 (9005) for turning on/off power source of CPU for mechanism control including engine establishing and a memory etc, a switch 2 (9007) for turning on/off power source of an ASIC 3 (9002) conducting engine image transfer, a switch 3 (9007) for turning on/off power source of a pull-up resistor of a PCI-BUS6017 connecting the ASIC 3 (9002) and a controller ASIC 1 (9015), and a switch 1 (9016) for turning on/off power source of the controller ASIC 1 (9015) and an ASIC (omitted in the figure) for controlling the CPU and the memory, are controlled in a predetermined order during turn on/off of power sources and transition between energy saving statuses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
