PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the connection reliability between a battery and a lead terminal. SOLUTION: By reducing the thickness of the welding portion 3a than that of a conductive portion 3b, a large current for welding in a thickness direction of a lead terminal 3 flows, an electric resistance of a welding portion 3a becomes large, and the heat generated by the resistance becomes large. By the above, a welded nugget 63 can be enlarged, and the lead terminal 3 can be welded to a terminal portion 37a of a battery 2 in a state that the connection reliability is enhanced.
