PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the resistance to vibration and to shocks and reduce the manufacturing cost by realizing the reduction of the weight, in a high frequency coil in which a wire is wound around a radio wave absorbing body from the small diameter end to the large diameter end of the same. SOLUTION: An insulating sheet 2 is formed so as to have a hollow conical shape, and a radio wave absorbing substance is coated on the surface of the same. A hollow jig 6 having substantially the same configuration is inserted into the hollow insulating sheet 2, and the inside of the jig 6 is evacuated by an evacuating means to retain the insulating sheet 2 having the radio wave absorbing body 3. The wire rod 4 is wound around the surface of the radio wave absorbing body 3 while turning the same to fix the wire rod 4 to the surface of the radio wave absorbing body 3 by an adhesive agent or the like. The high frequency coil is constituted by providing the radio wave absorbing body while forming the insulating sheet so as to have the hollow conical shape, the wire rod is wound around the same whereby the manufacturing process of the same is simple, the reduction of weight can be realized while the resistance to vibration as well as the resistance to shock are improved, and the manufacturing cost is reduced.
