PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-shell ejection type image forming apparatus that can visually recognize the state of an ejection sheet during ejection ejected in a sheet ejection space in simple constitution. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with an opening window 11, opened to the sheet ejection space 6 in a front side upper face of a body casing 2, slidably and movably supported in before and behind the directions to the upper face of the body casing 2 with an image scanner 3, and opens and closes the opening window 11 by accompanying slide movement of the image scanner 3.
