PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems related to a double-film concentrator, and to improve conventional traps and elimination concentrator. SOLUTION: In the method for condensing a gas-like substance, a trap for absorbing an object to be analyzed to be condensed is isolated from a carrier gas passing inside; the pressure in the trap is reduced to a first pressure; the object to be analyzed is decompressed from the trap; and the object to be analyzed discharged from the trap is dispersed into an analyzer that is operated at a second pressure which is lower than the first.
