PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistant alloy which balances heat cracking resistance with creep deformation resistance at a high level. SOLUTION: This heat resistant alloy has a composition comprising 0.20 mass% or more but less than 0.30 mass% C, 0.50-0.80 mass% Si, 0.70-1.50 mass% Mn, 20.0-30.0 mass% Cr, 25.0-35.0 mass% Ni, 1.0-1.8 mass% Nb, 3.0-6.0 mass% W, and P and S respectively limited to 0.02 mass% or less P and 0.010 mass% or less S, and the balance Fe with unavoidable impurities.
