PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded article which is excellent in transparency and has a moderate and stable rate of crystallization and hence is excellent in heat resistant dimensional stability and whose fluorescence emission responding to ultraviolet ray irradiation is inhibited, and to provide a polyester and a polyester composition comprised of the same which is especially useful to efficient production of a heat resistant hollow molded article and is excellent in workability in a prolonged continuous molding with making the mold rarely dirty and further gives a packaging material excellent in a flavor keeping property. SOLUTION: The polyester composition comprises a polyester A, which is obtained from mainly a terephthalic acid component and a glycol component, and a polyester B, which is produced by heat melt molding of the polyester A, and the intensity of fluorescence emission of the polyester A and/or B is not more than 10.
