摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of efficiently boring a material to be processed such as a hardly shaved material, e.g., an aluminum alloy, a composite material of an aluminum alloy and a carbon fiber or a titanium alloy. SOLUTION: A linear motor 30 is controlled by a controller 60 such that vibration and speed when a coil slider 34 is vibrated become values appropriate for the material 70 to be processed. The material 70 to be processed is started to be bored by a drill 50 while the linear motor 30 is controlled by the controller 60. A base 20 is moved in an arrow B direction at a desired feeding speed in the state that the drill 50 is finely vibrated. Thereby, boring can be carried out while cutting chips are finely crushed and discharged from the hole without delaying the boring time. When the hole having constant depth is opened, the drill 50 is drawn out from the hole by driving a servo-motor 18 and moving the base 20 in a direction opposite to the arrow B direction.
