PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate an optimal cutting condition for surroundings wherein each of users uses a cutting tool by eliminating a necessity of obtaining the optimal cutting condition corresponding to the surroundings of each of the users again, in regard to choice of a tool and the cutting condition thereof which refers to the condition recommended by a tool maker to show the maximum service life of the tool. SOLUTION: This optimal cutting condition estimating program is provided with a means for inputting the machining condition for cutting to a computer to provide the optimal cutting condition for cutting, a cutting results data recording means for previously recording the machining results data of the past, and a means for inputting at least one of conditions of an object and a machining method to obtain the cutting estimating condition from the machining results data record.
